College Football Saturday Texas Longhorns at Texas Tech Red Raiders (+6) (8PM ET) (ABC)

Texas faces their 4th consecutive Big 12 Conference war on Saturday night as they travel to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Texas Tech went to Kansas a pretty good football team and pounded them 63-21. Texas Tech has a solid offensive line that does a great job of protecting senior quarterback Graham Harrell who is hitting on 71% of his passes on the season. But its the play of their defense that has gotten my notice and this is their best defense in the Mike Leach era in Lubbock. Texas Tech ranks 21st in the nation with 20 sacks on the season. Texas Techs offense hasnt skipped a beat in Conference play averaging over 540 yards against Big 12 opponents. And neither has their improved defense giving up only 1 more yard per game against Big 12 Conference opponents. The spot here for Texas is bad going on the road after facing Oklahoma, Missouri and Oklahoma St in consecutive weeks. Take Texas Tech +6.
