@amy2x Good imagination! When all else fails try the conpiracy theory. That is what most flakes use.

@amy2x I don't and never have worked for a government.
Unfortunately for you I can freely think on my own.

The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

Uh,...I don't think so. Never going to happen. Total science fiction, theory and conjecture. That's my opinion.

Looks like a plan that will work so do it!

The age of dirty energy will soon come to a close, we knew about geothermal/hydrothermal energy for years before nuclear energy was even implemented. I hope to see this clean energy program come to fruition. Great video Amy2x thank you, very informative and will be a excellent step in the right direction.

@ElShadaiLives Good info, thanks.
All energy is free! This is no different than mining coal, solar, wind or nuclear energy production. Extracting the energy will cost billions similiar to other energy conversion methods. The transporting of the energy to inner continental loads will be next to impossible inancially and make this the most expensive enrgy source yet.
The stated capacities may feed new loads incurred over the next few decades in conjunction with safer methods, like nuclear.

wrong! those vents feed our oceans with the minerals, after a few decades of starving our waters these oceans would turn toxic and by by fish and by by you and me. Most people don't even realize that the sun provides vitamin d when absorbed by the skin.

@238raymo Vents would still feed minerals. All the vents would not be covered up around the globe.They are to numerous to count.

So, these-ALL of them would be built right on top of fault lines. There's the problem. Solution?

@hotheadedjoelhaha Major earthquakes don't happen all the time. Should be able to produce a lot of energy.
I don't know how a earthquake would affect the platform.
