FF 12 - Optional Esper Battle #7: Zodiark, Keeper of Percepts [2/2]

Continued from Part 1.

The Quickening wasn't enough to take Zodiark out, so I had to bear with the Magick and Physical Pailings. In addition, all of its attacks were growing faster and stronger and Darkja was used more often. With Shift in effect, pinpointing its new weakness was out of the question, so I turned to Scathe to finish the job.

I still dont completely understand why Darkja kills players with Dark absorb stuff on ?

Instant Death is one of Darkja's effects. Even with wearing Black Masks, somebody can still die though it's a small chance (about 20-30%).

It's the same with Darkja's Blind effect and anybody can be inflicted with both.

dude, i've equiped myself with black masks....but i've never been able to absorb any life points...you know whats going on?

this is exactly why zodiark sucks dick n vagina.he has darkja,infinite mp,magickal n physical paling.this battle sucks dick.square enix sucks vagina.

i mean whats stopping him from spamming darkja?sooner or later everybody would die bcoz of it.this is not a battle of playing skill/strategy,its a battle of speed n luck.the longer u fight the more dangerous it gets n u need luck to survive darkja.this battle licks asshole.

ughs 20-30% is still too high :P haha, it seems everytime he does it atleast 2 of my people die.

omg when i first got this game, and did this battle for the first time it was probably the hardest optional/esper boss that i went against in the game, other than ultima. The battle itself was a pain, but the road to get to him was the most annoying part.
