We review the Doberman Pinscher a medium size dog. Compactly built, muscular and powerful, for great endurance and speed. Elegant in appearance, energetic, watchful, determined, alert, fearless, loyal and obedient.
The Doberman Pinscher Club of America was founded in 1921.
"Pinscher" means terrier
Doberman Pinschers were named after Louis Doberman, a tax collector
The first official records of the Doberman appear in the stud books of the Dobermannpinscher Verein stud book of 1890 in Germany.
The Dobermann is one of the few breeds that has been named after a person.

anyway overall i think Doberman Pinschers are good dogs and very beautiful in appearance with their streamline looks and low maitanence fur coat with the puppy dog eyes, a good family pet that will protect their owners and not shed all over your furniture lol

i got bitten for no reason by a Doberman Pinschers when i was a little girl. he got loose from the neighbors yard and i was always scared of him, the point im about to make though is that his bite only just broke the skin and left a bit of bruising. ive been around dobermans that were very sweet, so i dont believe they bite to kill considering the bite i had. its not dangerous like a pitbull and considering the dog that bit me was always outside i dont think the retarded owner ever loved him

@HardHatDIver412 Theres a functional purpose for spaying and neutering dogs. Not doing so leads to further overpopulation and get more dogs killed in pounds. Cropping and docking serves no purpose. Be rational.

@xcineguy101 In my opinion, there doesn't exist an "average" size for the entire Dobermann "breed". There are countless bloodlines. There is simply a huge amount of variety. Dobermanns have been known to weigh anywhere from only less than forty-five pounds to over one hundred thirty. Go research Britton Farms Dobermanns located in Texas. My mother's x-friend owns a Dobermann who grew only to around forty pounds.
And also, the builds of these dogs also very by the bloodlines/individuals.
