It is ironic that we as people fear persecution by our world when Christ Himself promises that suffering in His name is blessed. Lord be with us and guide us in your ways.

very nice words.... Jesus gave us so much and yet we give him so little..... The greatest thing he left for us is undoubtedly the Eucharist, his true Presence in his body and blood, and his holy bride our Church, that she teaches us how great Christ is from her endless teaching....

Me too. He "takes it down a peg" from so many other attempts. He lets the truth of his words speak for themselves. Real Truth doesn't need to be propped up with theatrics imho.

thx Karen, i simply feel more related with the old Jesus of Nazareth movie. The actor seems to feels more the words. But that's just me.
