So she offered to make payments on a $33k debt and they refused payments? She might want to check her state legislature because in some states if a creditor refuses a payment it nullifies the debt.

The newest Wall Street/Debt Collection strategy is to sell your old accounts to others for collection, even those that were included in one's bankruptcy.

EXAMPLE: Citifinancial sells vehicle accounts to Santander, a new world-wide

auto loan entity, who then tries to collect , ILLEGALLY, on such loans.

FACT: Any contract, such as an auto loan, CANNOT be altered without BOTH parties agreeing. Bottom line...QUIT VOTING REPUBLICAN!!!!

What damages did they cause her? Bank of America harasses everyday too! Nationwide put a bad collection thing on my crdit because I dropped them and refused to pay them the last 2 months ofa 6 month policy. I got pissed off because they said for 4 months that they would fix and lower my bill and they never did! Screw Nationwide!!

She is asking to be treated with dignity and to make some type of arrangement to fullfill her responsibilities under the situation she is now.
