A hundred years ago, the electric telegraph made possible - indeed, inevitable - the United States of America. The communications satellite will make equally inevitable a United Nations of Earth; let us hope that the transition period will not be equally bloody.
( Arthur C. Clarke )

The N WO may be coming whether you like it or not. The Type I Civilization is being envisaged. You and your children and your children's children may have to wear the 6-6-6 chip in the Brave New World. Understand.

I read all his books. He was truely a great man. He really impacted my life and I owe my career to him for the motivation his books gave me. RIP Arthur.

I still can't believe he passed away. He was kind of a father figure to me that I never had in my own life, from my early teens to this day, and always will be!

I remember writing him fan mail in 2001, and he even sent a letter back to me with so kind words. He was truly a great man.

I may be a sentimental fool, but I just can't help but cry when watching this and listening to his fragile voice.
