@sorryitookthisname2 the new H20 packs are but,,, thats too loud for stealth :p
-
a crash could be ugly
-
it isnt practical for war or anything because its hard to put on and its heavy and it burns about 10 grand woth of fuel in 30 seconds
-
Its not fake, its real, but its pretty useless for anything other than making a damn flashy entrance.
-
the us had been working on it, but shut it down becuase it took too much fuel and up in the air for only 30 secs

zarserz, is a stupid. its historical fact, and there are plenty more videos, even on the net, and more recent, of the rocketbelt in action. you are a stupid.

BTW, this film dates from 1973. Before personal computers existed. The voice is that of veteran actor Chuck Conners and it comes from the TV series "Thrillseekers" which featured stuntmen and spectacular new technologies for the time such as hanggliders and rocketbelts.

in adition to the hydrogen peroxide fueled Bell rocketbelt shown here, which only has a flying time of 22 seconds or so, the Williams jetbelt which used a small turbofan jet engine had a flight time of 30minutes. Far more practical.
You can see the Williams turbine jet pack towards the end of this vid, and see the kerosene turbine fuel sloshing in his fuel tanks:

Oh my goodness. The skeptics! This technology is honest to god, ancient. The Germans developed Jetpacks during WW2, you can by commercial leisure jet packs for about 200K today.... We have HAD them for a very long time... they are just not practical 99% of the time.
