Last night, three the Zimmers were on the Jay Leno Tonight show! They were very funny!!

I know how you felt Hilde,when I first saw them here in England on TV, I thought they were just fantastic, the music just 'rolled'. I remember seeing the Who do this track in the mid '60s at our local dance hall in Stevenage for 10/- (50p in today's money)and it rocked back then and the Zimmers take is on par with the Who's original. There's hope for us yet. ;O))

Very cool! I think they are going to be on Jay Leno tomorrow night. I'm going to attempt to stay up for that and see them!

Hildegard, it MAY work world-wide on it's own merits. But saying so never hurts. Word-of-mouth is the best advertisement in the world. AND you're right - the world is so small anymore. And these great older adults are rockin' cool and smooth. GOD WILLING I make it as far as some of them. It's really GREAT stuff and a great cause...an unsung one...till now.

I absolutly aggree, our "seniors" are really a great sub-culture that shouldn't be put aside or forgotten.
