Yabu Band - Indian Ocean Territories Tour

Multi-talented musicians Delson and Boyd Stokes will travel far from their home town in the Goldfields, as their group The Yabu Band tours to the Indian Ocean Territories on a tour coordinated by Country Arts WA.




The brothers, who at age five were fighting over the same guitar, now make up two thirds of The Yabu Band - one of the most exciting and popular up-and-coming contemporary Aboriginal bands in Australia.




The Yabu Band will share its powerful desert rock sound as part of a stage show featuring traditional instruments and dancers to communities on Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands in a tour supported by the Australian Government through the Attorney General's Department.
