  • I have many favorite movies, but this one is at the top of the list. Deborah Kerr was one of those classic beauties who brought class and elegance to every role. My favorite scene from "Tea and Sympathy" is the one shown here where she asks that the young man "be kind" when he speaks of their experience together. Oh, how that breaks my heart every time I watch it because we all know that life isn't going to be kind to her in the end. Thanks for the post.

  • JOHN KERR is really the son of the late classic actor FRANCHOT TONE and his mother was June Walker a stage & screen actress . Franchot met June when they appeared in a Broadway Play called 'Green Grows The Lilacs' back in 1931 which later became known as Oklahoma. The father who raised him was Geoffrey Kerr and whose name he uses still today. But he is Franchot's SON !

  • Is there ANWAY you could post the whole movie if you have it? Or just clips? I'm DIEING to see it and you can't buy it for a reasonably price off of amazon.com DARN!

  • Thank you, DKG! This is awesome! And you're right, anoldprestonian, he did say it perfectly. It seems everybody who worked with her universally loved her. I read somewhere that the person who couldn't get along with her while working w/ her didn't exist! I believe it!!:)

  • Thank you so much for posting this! And I quite agree SeleneBowie, all her co-stars had to be a little bit in love with her, it couldn't have been otherwise, what's not to love?!

  • She should sooo have won the academy award for MANY of her preformances!! Thank you so much for uploading this :D

  • Thank you dearie! Who wouldn't be in love with her? hehe

  • Well said, John Kerr! And thank you, DebKerrGirl for uploading this!
