Hello friend I wanted to thank you for posting this video. I have Phyllis and Del in my Lesbian American History video. Two wonderful women who's history will live on. Del and I share the same last name.
typical response from a homophobe...the marriages of gays and lesbians are approved by the govt and who in the hell is going to complain otherwise? and to all the ones that hate gays and lesbians these gals were along alot longer than most straights ever will be...
First of all there's no such thing as a faggot marriage. They both will rot in hell. Read the bible it makes it clear. And she died today....thank God ..Thank God...Thank God. 1 down and too many to go. But the battle wages on.
Quite4us2, this is such a hateful comment. I really cannot understand why someone can have such terrible thoughts who truly believes in God. Del and Phyllis loved each other and lived together for more than 50 years. We all should appreciate that independently of our religious believes. I hope that you will change your mind over time.
quiet4us2 John the Apostle wrote, "Dear friends, let us love one another for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." - 1 John 4:7-8 (NIV. Phyllis Lyon and Del Martin loved and thus knew God. You hate and speak ill to God's childeren and thus you do not know God. If you want to save yourself from hell first read Bible yourself and understand the greatest and only message of lord i.e. love.
I am so glad you posted this. It's wonderful to hear Phyllis tell the story of The Ladder. It's priceless for us young dykes to see and hear the women who paved the road for us. Thank you.
