I have a radio, too!! HOLY SHIT!!!!!! Jk, man you know more about this stuff than any of the other people I know :)

I see you understand well all the parts and how it works. It would be great if you reproduce the first telegraph made by Weber and Gauss around 1833 using no batteries, only morse keys, magnets, coils, a long wire and compass needles :)

@thedarkone2134 Thank you for the comment! I saw your video on your radio and I think it's better than mine! Your's is tunable (mine is, too, only about 400kHz +/- after some modifications I made after this video), and you have a 1N34A Germanium diode which works so much better than my blue blade and pencil setup. I once heard Radio Canada on a poor ground and a 20' wire here in Oregon on my smaller 1N34A radio, proving my previous point!

You have a very nice working radio ! Your cat whisker works well.
I've made a radio too, but I used a germanium diode and a smal Japanese coil.
Only 2 parts and a headphone needed.

@MediaHoax Thanks! Germanium detectors work a ton better than my setup. I heard Radio Canada with a 1N34A radio in Oregon. Also, if you can't find a Piezo earphone, a Piezo transducer from Radio Shack will work, though it might reduce selectivity.
