  • i like tigers old swing better 99-2003, He used to use his bigger muscles to control the clubface now with hank hany he uses his arms alot more, notice his transition to the downswing he drops the club to the inside and gets very shallow

  • @xKiNGP1N That's Hank's whole deal, the shallowing of the plane. It was working great at the President's Cup and he won almost half the tournaments he played in but I agree I liked his old move better. The problem is that only a superhuman 25 year old could swing like that. Tiger is now a breaking down 35 year old, like me, who wants a swing that will last until he's dead. Tiger 2000 will only be a memory now that his neck is messed up.

  • That's just damn pretty

  • If only Mike Austin had got hold of Woods in his teens. He'd still be number one and have a working left knee. The modern swing is little more than masochism and poor mechanics.

  • Was at the driving range today and walked from stall to stall just looking at one pathetic swing after another. The same idiots just practicing bad habits having no clue how to self correct. It's amazing to me how people can't just look at a professional golf swing and at least come close to emulating it. Most of you have no idea how stupid you look swinging a golf club. The worst is how so many of you try to give advice when 90% of you couldn't find your dick with a map.

  • @helenathena

Flattening & shallowing helps ball strikes ? Check that with your coach ;-)

  • I love it when he hits the ball

  • well nicklaus won the masters when he was 46, but there is a diffrent story whit tiger. if he wouldn't have changed his swing like nicklaus did he might had been able to win more. but anything can happen

  • Tiger won the US open by 13 shots or whatever it was and he changes his swing? I never quite understood that. He was so dominant when he was younger and just look at him now. I have no doubts that Tiger will get his game back eventually, but I don't see why he thinks he has to change his swing every 3 years

  • @TheMagic68

The guy said himself "after as many knee surgeries as I have had you have to change it to lengthen your career." So your comment is based upon nothing but your opinion. the old swing hurt his knee, hanks swing hurt his neck, the new swing hurts his back...Haneys would have made him last longer but he didnt agree with the progress he was not making

  • tiger is an average pga tour player...hes too old to dominate like he used to...oh well

  • @xkingp1n its not only the shallowing of the swing, in other words flatter, which i think makes ball striking alot easier, but its the lay off position that hank makes all his students do, that right there takes alot of power from you, its just hard to make a downswing with that position without coming over the top of the ball, but now sean foley is having him squaring up everything, ive never seen tiger hit the ball like at chevron since 2000, that was a great performance
