For anyone contemplating on getting a GSX R 1000 who may be intimidated, don't be. I jumped from a GS500 to a GSXR1000 (my 4th bike) and I only weigh 140lbs. It's all in experience, respect for the bike, and being smart with the power not being dumb and trying to show off three quarters of the time. Cuz that'll get you in trouble.So if you think you'r gana be dogging it every damn light and straight a way, then save the paramedics the hassle and don't get cuz you will kill you'r self eventually.
