Off-road Racer Rolls Truck Into Crowd, Killing 8

Hundreds of thrill-seeking fans watched in horror Saturday night as an off-road truck smashed into spectators, killing eight and injuring 12 other. The deadly crash happened at the California 200, an off-road race in the Mojave Desert. (Aug. 15)
