The Catholics practice a perpetual sacrafice of Jesus Christ for the remission of venial sins through a ceremony they call Mass. They use sophistry to defend this by stating that its just a continuation of the same sacrafice which in their thinking makes sense. They state that the wine and wafer actually become the blood and flesh of Jesus Christ but you can't see it or taste it physically so its pure nonsense. They invented a magical word called Transubstantiation to explain this nonsense
