  • V. Cattamalo has a wisdom of Buddhism. The Burmese monks should not take to the streets!

  • I can't see that the monks did anything wrong, we talk about non-violence not non-demonstration. On all the news reports I've seen nobody has criticised the monks for the action they took, in fact the situation was the opposite the monks were praised

  • Thank you, Ajahn Cattamalo, for giving me another perspective on the situation in Burma which all the while, I have been contemplating.

    Sadhu Sadhu

  • Thank you for your post venerable.

I think these people(monks and lay) are bodhisattvas, who act knowing that they may be killed for the greater benifit of society.

The Buddha himself acted directly to stop the outbreak of war.I think the public is aware that there is something wrong with the situation in Burma.

    Thankyou again Sadhu.

  • God Bless You!

  • It's right thing to say, and kind enough for people.Thank you for saying that you are watching, listening and thinking for them.
