(Google) Notifier is a small app that manages most of the services offered through Google like Gmail, Google Calendar, etc., and it can be configured to notify you of new email, appointments, and other things.

thanks, glad it was helpful! and yes, the MacBook can access the internet in any country, provided you have the necessary login info to gain access to a network...

@callmejosiah hey next year ima be in gr 10 and will be in a independant school where there arnt any teachers unless u need them for help or something and was wondering if i should get a mac. I will not be getting a new one because of the economy and my parents budget so i will be getting either a referbished or a used one from kijiji. Should i get the used mac and get all the new parts and such or should i just buy a pc.

well i dont know why but when i got a new laptop i wanted to sign in to my youtube account but it didnt recognize my username and password when it was 100% correct!
