i'm ashamed that this is an issue for hearings...isn't there some sort of professional baseball organisation that could handle this internally? Maybe we should hold world talks to discuss this earthshaking problem? if baseball players take steriods the terrorist win! HGH hates freedom!

I know this is and old post but I just wanted to say I think it's the legal issue and the massive problem of steroids in sports that made congress address it.... They really cracked down on MLB and it shows in the amount of big time home-run hitters now.... WAY less homer runs in baseball.... I think it was a serious out of control problem... Where is the physical evidence or even a sign that anyone tried to collect it? Without physical evidence this is all he said, she said. And it's blatantly obvious that most of the panel members had made up their minds on Clemens' guilt or innocence. This hearing did little to nothing to advance the investigation. Get an unbiased jury with no political agenda to hear the case and move forward from there.

Roger Clemens is just as dirty and as much of a cheater as Barry Bonds & Jose Canseco and the rest of the PED users in MLB & other sports and should not be allowed in their respective halls of fame

What I learned is that Petitte, Knoblach and McNamee have more credibility in their understanding of when to tell the Truth than Roger Clemens ever will.

Clemens has an ego the size of Texas, but his credibility is as small as a snail darter. It would have served Roger Clemens much better if he had not tried to fit into the superman outfit and had just owned up to what Petitte and Knoblach and others have faced up to.

Egos are a hard thing to shake. Sad..Very sad.
