i'm living in the wrong era... god, i wish i were alive back then :(

@DavTSim2 Yes, it still exists. And you were right :) , it was originaly bulit in XVIII century as a palace - residence for polish nobelman Antoni Jabłonowski. During XIX and first half of XX century it served as a city hall. It has been destroyed during Warsaw Uprising in 1944. After the war the ruins were deconstucted, and foundations covered with pavement, but in 1997 it has been rebuilt and now it serve as a bank headquarters.

@Videomanjohn sorry, I meant that CHURCH is at ul. dluga...
thanks, I have the picture too (from Wiki) but I don't know where it was. Could have been Ulica Dluga?

@hansl72 I think the Ulica Dluga is a street or district in Gdansk. The church at 1:04 is the Holy Trinity Church in Warsaw which is now the Field Cathedral for the Polish Army.

co to za cerkiew na 1.04?
hansl72 1 year ago
@hansl72 The photo is called "Warsaw Russian Church". I'm not sure if this church survived WW 2. It looks a bit like the Orthodox Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Warsaw, but it is not the same.
