With my 245mm tires I would have pushed that volvo most likely miles back.

But the Saab does not have more grip in this situation because the Volvo pushes it's front in the air. The Saab loses grip.
And the Volvo rear drive gets pushed into the ground, not up.
Also they are not using identical tires, so what's the deal anyway? It's just for the fun of it.
