Shooting the Ruger 10/22 Archangel 5.56 ARS w/ Black Dog Machine 50 rd. Drum - Just doing a functioning test as I'm looking for other ammo that will feed well with it besides Blazer... With the CCI Blazers I can run through about 200-300 hundred rounds before getting a FTE...and I'm installing a new precise ejector because that has been a more recent issue. As you can see here, Federal Auto-Match, although a great round, doesn't really do so well in this particular setup whereas in another video of mine using this round with the Tactical Innovations 25 rd mag, they perform flawlessly.

This is VERY easy to load as it has place to rest your thumb an take tension off the mag spring so that you can just drop the rounds in ...it's certainly the quickest way to load 22lr into any 10/22 mag that I know of.

I paid about $65 plus shipping for this mag from JoeBoboutfitters(dot)com...

Thanks for watching and sorry the camera wasn't focusing properly in this one!

  • NICE! Where did you get the A1 style upper for picatiny rail from? Or is it A2 style? Either way I like it! I highly recommend the auto-bolt release, it's SUPER easy to install, and makes the functionality so much cooler, feels way more natural. Sweet vid bro, too bad you couldn't rapid fire! PS, I approved this for vid response

Hey thanks a lot Dr.! The upper is an A2...found it on the bay for $20-29. I did do the auto bolt release some time ago and it is a pleasure! Keep the vids coming!

  • the guy in the white shirt punches you in the face if you rapid fire!!!!!!!

Cool. Might have to get one. Yea, I put gunscrubber in a plasic butler creek mag and it melts the polymer, lol.

  • @TAMYCRON

Feels very durable! I found this note from BD about the drum cleaning and this should about answer your Q: "Black Dog Magazines are made with Polycarbonate; this is the same material that is used for bullet proof glass. The magazine is tough and takes heat well, but like most plastics it does have a weakness. Chemical cleaners like Hoppe #9 and acetone or toluene can have an affect on your magazine. Fear not! The solution to this is simple: Remove your mags before cleaning your gun...

  • @Quaboosttro

I know they got plastic feed lips, is it crappy plastic or is it actually tough?

  • @LakeTahoeHunting

There is an endless supply and demand for accessories and replacement parts on this gun...It's a gift and a curse: a gift when you get your parts, a curse when you shortly after review your checking account balance!

    Sweet Marlin/Fiberforce setup btw!!!
