  • At 0:40 my heart sank! Not because of the car so much...but the tower. R.I.P. O.C.I.R!!!!

  • A great walk down memory lane! I grew up in the 60s and early 70s, and I couldn't help but gravite to the funny cars. Some of the best race cars ever. Lots and shake, noise, speed, sound, and acrid smoke... but a lot more "skin" than the dragsters to show off the colors and names and such. I had completely forgotten about Color Me GONE... wow, what a ride! Literally and figuratively. Thanks.

  • @SaintVitus808 you have the movie they made about it?

  • The music goes great with the photo's!! nice job!!

  • at :50 there is a picture of Dunn & Reath AA/FC. take a close look and you will see this is a rear engine funny car. also in the back ground you will notice the Lions banner. this picture is real piece of drag racing history. I was 12 years old at the time & lived at the so Cal drag strips. when I took a revell model and made a rear engine funny car, people thought I was nuts. I think if they had the time and money for a little R&D we could have seen a whole different history on funny cars.

  • If I'm not mistaken, as I grew up there & I'm also a stockholder, that picture of all the cars lined up down the track was taken at New England Dragway in Epping NH. Those were awesome Funnycar meets back then. The stands were always full and so was the hill!

  • I have seen every one of these cars at York US 30,Thomasville PA

  • good vidieo
