Have you ever taken a precision jump or cat leap and landed higher, shorter, or further than expected? Chances are that this may have surprised you as you were forced to instantly adapt to a slightly different landing technique. By practicing the landing continuum, you will prepare yourself to handle any jump and landing with ease, even if you miscalculate how you are going to land.

  • Hey Ryan, I remember seeing this video a long time ago, so I decided to check it out again really quick to see if you had any thoughts on what happens when you end up having too much power on a precision, or slipping on precisions. Do you have a similar landing continuum for those?

  • @10TicTac01 No, but we teach another thing called the falling continuum for different kinds of techniques. This is essentially the study of Ukemi for Parkour. You can find some info on this if you search Amos Rendao and Ukemi.

  • can you give me some tips on what to do to jump higher/further like you do in this video? or some exercisises and workout to do... would be pretty much appreciated!

  • @pivotiano check out all the exercises i have posted on my account.

  • Nice really love it ! I don't like the fact there are no such spots in Lithuania , But theres a lot of newbies out there , you guys should make a video for beginners so they won't go jumping strait to the big ones . ;)

  • good stuff ryan, very thoughtful

  • @DemonDrills Great, thank you very much!

  • @DemonDrills how strong do you have to be in parkour i have now been training park our for 1 month

  • What's the music? Sounds nice.

  • what's the song? u make it all look so easy

  • This video is gold :) I think it's a major milestone when aiming to train safely and effectively. Thanks for your ideas. I think a good addition would be explaining how to save yourself when falling, like backwards roll in case of cat-leap abort.

  • nice. Im gonna work on this. Thanks

  • @legacysage actually its not that difficult, if you really wanna master your crane, you should aim to progress all the way to craning something around shoulder height from the lower ground onto the ledge.
