  • What a "Commuterful" Day!

  • Naw that's a K5LH (K5LA Hybrid). A K5LA is an American tuned K5L. But the K5LAs on Acelas and HHP-8 (except the F-end of #653) have a #3 bell instead of a #3a bell, making them sound a little bit more like K5Ls. Thus they are sometimes called K5LH horns (K5L & K5LA Hybrid).

K5HLs aren't too common in America, but can be found on some GEVOs. But since Amtrak prohibits 6 axle locos on the NEC, you will never hear a K5HL at 128...

  • @TNT314159 Isn't that the horn the Acela's and some HHP-8's have? SOME HHP-8's :p

  • Nvm you took them off lol. But where did you hear a K5HL?

  • @TNT314159 What "tags"?

  • Dude, whats with the tags
