www.ProGuitarShop.com - The Lovepedal Kalamazoo is the newest creation from one of the most acclaimed boutique manufacturers in the industry. If youve been following what Lovepedal has done over the years, then the Lovepedal Kalamazoo will be a welcome addition to your pedal board. This steers overdrive in a new direction. Of course, since it is hand built by Lovepedal with high quality components, there is a warmth and transparency that sets it heads and shoulders above the hordes of boutique overdrive pedals. The Lovepedal Kalamazoo is unique in that is has two tone controls that will allow you to shape your overdrive to the specifics of your guitar and rig. The Level knob controls the amount of signal and the Drive knob controls the level of overdrive. This super smooth overdrive allows you to have controllable highs, so no more trebly fizz or unwanted icepick treble. Just smooth and sweet singing highs. The Glass knob allows you to increase treble without cutting bass, and allows you also to tune your drives tone to different amplifiers. The Tone knob allows you to soften the treble content. This effectively creates a tone control in series with a treble boost, which provides a sonic presence that will simply knock you out. - http://proguitarshop.com/store/overdrive-pedals-lovepedal-overdrive-pedals-c-...

  • This might seem like a dumb question, but is this pedal just supposed to make everything sound like it's being played w/ an old (Kalamazoo) Les Paul?

... maybe through a Gibson amp??

Not saying that'd be a bad thing, necessarily, but... ?

  • @yobhsiFehT - No, that would be an awful lot to ask out of one pedal. It's not magic. Lovepedal is based in Michigan, so that's what the name is about. The pedal itself isn't supposed to imitate anything in particular. It's just a natural sounding, responsive OD pedal. Thanks!

  • I live in the UK and I ordered this from PGS on Friday afternoon, I got it Monday morning! Outstanding service!

In the past I have waited longer for things I have ordered from within the UK!

Once again, thank you PGS for your top class service. I will definitely be shopping with you more often.

  • what is the track at 2:50 ? nice riffs!

  • love it

  • Damn, this sounds so good.

  • This or the plimsoul?!

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos But now that you mention it...... Lots of people say that Sean sprinkles magic dust into his pedals to make them sound so fantastic..... funny......

  • Andy, are you in a cover band? You know a lot of covers, just thought I'd ask.

  • @brianendersmusic In my opinion, the Kalamazoo blows the TS9 away...even with the Keeley mod on the TS9. The Kalamazoo has a huge array of tones. It's just an amazing pedal.

  • I think I've fallen in love. Completely and utterly. Andy, do I get this or a Wampler Ecstacy??

  • I know what i a getting for christmas now Thanks PGS

  • This sounds awesome with a Les Paul. Great for a Jimmy Page crunchy tone :)
