Since most of today's students can appropriately be labeled as "Digital Learners", why do so many teachers refuse to enter the digital age with their teaching practices?

This presentation was created in an effort to motivate teachers to more effectively use technology in their teaching.

Please see http://t4.jordandistrict.org/payattention to learn how you can become a better teacher.

  • We are listening... and we are doing...

  • im a teenager in college most of this applies to me, especially the part about 'playing school' thats really all we do most of the people who are in school only care about passing, well alot dont care about that even.

  • The problem is that these kids who grew up in the digital age have the attention span of a mentally challenged sea sponge. They also have been exposed to more advertising than ever before, and most don't read anything worthwhile on their own time. Yes texting is reading, but the quality of material read is also important. I know very few young people who can say thay've read real literature for enjoyment outside the classroom.

  • Have you being paying attention? How do stalkers learn?

Are they ...sexual or attention seekers tryn to make friends...

  • i dont get it?

  • i think that numbers now are much biger

  • Band de sous merdes depressives, vous cultivez la force de vos ennemis !

  • Someone please tell me what this song is called. Please. I want to know it soo bad.

  • Your messages don't make much sense...

  • This is great! Of course kids will cheat. Everyone cheats. Ever been on a diet? The point is not for a kid to use it during a test. The point of this is to find useful ways to engage children in curriculum using things that they are interested in. We do need to plug into what our children are doing. They are talking to us everyday. The question is are we listening. I am a teacher so I do understand.
