Before we can use a homeopathic remedy, we need to know what its picture is, i.e. what symptoms it will produce in a healthy person. The process for discovering this is termed a proving. This needs to be carried out by following a rigorous process in order to obtain accurate and reliable information. This video clip is taken from the School of Homeopathy's First Aid Course, the School offers home study and attendance courses from beginner to practitioner level across the world. www.homeopathyschool.com. • "Provings" - a wonderfully florid description of the placebo effect. So tragic that homeopaths refuse to acknowledge this fundamental mistake in their approach. But then again, if they did do that they'd be out of a business.

  • loltastic... It's somewhat close to double blind... they could help by adding regular water (lol) into the mix. If 50% of the people in the proving had non-potentiated (lol) water it could almost be seen as scientific.

  • @mebirdo Yeah it's single blind, and rooms full of people are notoriously unreliable (group think.)

  • That is NOT what double blind is

  • Double blind? It does not sound like they have a control group... plus talking about that in a group setting seems inherently flawed (it would be better to isolate each student and interview them separately.
