There is a new book out "The Framing of Mumia Abu-Jamal," arguing that the actual shooter was Kenneth Freeman. The NY Times took the book seriously enough that they wrote a strong article in the front section on May 2. See more at Abu-Jamal-News(dot)com
Note that witnesses Veronica Jones and Dessie Hightower both said they saw someone run away before police arrived. They were both intimidated by police because of this.
This new author, O'Connor, has written a good review of "Murdered by Mumia".

Can I ask what the fuck his intellegence has to do with this? Just because he's smart doesn't mean he's above killing somebody. Ira Einhorn is the perfect example of an intellegent person who killed somebody in cold blood, is his conviction because of his political beliefs too? Face the facts and realize he committed a cowardly act and shot somebody in the back, with no regard for Danny's family and friends, like the faggot pussy he is. Execution is too good for him.
