Fake PRAYIN' & Insanely Thankful CHRISTIANS!

This is just a vlog on how a lot of prayers are becoming very fake and mundane, because of us being too thankful. It's good and all to thank God forr what we have, as in material things, but we need to love Him for A LOT more than that, we need to love God for who he is. And I feel like in my youth group and in my church and even at home in my family, it's soo easy to get by with being repetitive and mundane and only thankful and completely miss who God is and miss the overwhelming passion that can come from being real and being genuine in our prayers and throughout our entire lives.

@CornerTalker yeah, i do agree with you, but i think that finding that balance between being ungrateful and trivially thanking God all the time and having that become your prayer life is what we need to find a healthy balance between. And I think that at that point of balance, is genuine thankfulness, but staying balanced in between there is very difficult.

@pol1177 That was my favorite verse 2 years ago!! I had this whole kind of unit devo thing where I focused on that verse. Thank you soo much for posting that! This is an amazing vid i think we do need to thank God for all he has done and i dont think their is a way for us to thank him for all the amazing things that he has done but it is very important to also pray for those on need and loved one and just anything u have going on in your head he is the one that u can talk to about everything

@MillionVoices13 you are a very passionate Christian, lizzie! and yes i love ur zebra design pillows LOOL! Well, i think God dislikes both luke-warmness and insincerity in prayer... but on the same light, i think prayer doesnt hav to be long or eloquent it shud be direct and sincere BUT our entire days n our entire being should be devoted to worship. I dont think worship should be compartmentalized into devotional time but should encompass ALL we do.

yes i do think that some prayers are fake but sometimes they are kinda personal at church or at the dinner table but when you are having you god time everyday or whenever it just depends when you like to have your time you know it is all out there for me i guess i could go on and on and on for hours on end talking to God just about my day or my night whatever it is not personal lke it is at church or with family you know God knows everything and everybody and there actions
