An easy way to grade your fish to get the males and females apart. We do this when the fish are three months old. The male fish will go into the grow out tanks, and the female will go to other use. In this video the fish we put into the grader is two months old, this is for demonstration only to show how easy the smaller fish leave the cage. At three months you have a lot more fish caught. Note, I tried the cage with only one side and it will not work, the fish get caught in between the large fish. For the cage to work all sides and bottom allow escape for the smaller fish.
