This is Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa. Unfortunately, they shut down the Tiger side after my clubs ERT session ended so I didn't get all the shots of the Tiger side I wanted so I'll have to get another video sometime when both sides are running. It's a dueling wooden roller coaster that was just retracked and had the New Millenium Flyer Trains from GCI (Great Coasters Inc), they're the company that manufactured the roller coaster as well. The ride previously had four coaster trains from PTC (Philadelphia Toboggan & Coasters). The ride had become litterally unbearable to ride. But now, with the new Millenium Flyer Trains and the retracking, it's almost as smooth as it was when it opened in 1999.

  • why is there like two people

  • @TheStormrunner12 I shot this video during my coaster club's Winter Safari event. They opened Gwazi for us about an hour before the park opened to the General Public.

  • Is this roller coaster with the new trains any smoother?

  • @clutchshot44 Absolutely it is. I can now ride it multiple times without getting a headache. The new trains are super comfortable as well.

  • is the back and the frount the best spots because that is were all of the people are sitting

  • @frizzyhead2 You got it, I preffer the back as there's lots of airtime back there.

  • if these were on Son of Beast at Kings Island would it make it better

  • rode gwazi with both the old and new trains and i am so happy they got rid of the old ones. the PTC trains were unbearable and awful. These new trains are way smoother. Though the ride itself is still pretty rough, i can tollerate it a lot more now. very comfortable and well worth at least a 20-30min wait as long as both sides are running. To me both have to be running or I'm skipping. I want the 'dueling' especially now since dragon challenge is doing 'individual' runs.

  • @wilhelm1407 It really is and they're super comfortable as well. I've got a better video of Gwazi with the new MF trains on my channel. Click on my uploads and it's the most recent video of Gwazi.

  • Those trains look 10 times better than the old ones. :D
