I had the chance to live in Los Angeles and I just wanted to say that the only persons who took care of me as a regular guy first as a friend then and finally almost as a brother were Mexican American guys !!!! They liked me because I simply respect them as friend and now brothers...

I been to New Orleans plenty of times. (got an Uncle there) No wonder you get robbed when you put a hand on your wallet the moment you see a black person. Body language can really scr*w you over. They'll notice when you treat them as equals, instead of this superior feeling you seem to be having over them. You would notice when the one talking to you thinks you have bad breath, likewise people you seem to despise notice the hate you're having. Killing eachother, Isn't that what you wanted???

That's a very ignorant thing to say. You posted this in relation to Lead Belly's performance. I would say that African American people of this time period were very hard working people. There are plenty of immoral, lazy and any other negative thing you can say of any race throughout time. How about just enjoying the music that influenced so much.

Maybe you just can't handle the truth. I have traveled the whole country. I honestly have spent time in all most every state. Where I grew up there were only a few Jigs in my school. I was friends with all of them. It was after school when I traveled state to state that my opinion was formed. I experienced so much Racism from Blacks and Mexicans. I am 1 quarter Native American. And proud of it. I never said I didn't enjoy the music. But I would never invite them to my home.

Huddie Ledbetter was Black -but he was also descended from the Native American Caddo tribe which resided in Louisiana and Oklahoma..His mother called him Huddie because she like the sound of that name but we're not sure if was a Dutch or Indian name.
