I have got on the Shinkansen and TGV.
I think it was quiet in TGV as compared with Shinkansen.
Because passengers cars of TGV has no moter drives.
It was very confortable.
Nowadays, the top speed of TGV is not so different with that of Shinkansen.
And, Shinkansen's acceleration is significantly high.
Shinkansen is convinient because it comes every 4 min.

@MrAskkids Don't listen to these assclowns, TGV (574 kph) is the fastest then the Maglev (571 kph), in theory the Maglev is faster but not in real life... The TGV is just as safe as these trains. All of these trains though can't go over 300 kph with passengers on board.
