As an indian or more as a south asian I feel more than Deepika I think its the voice of Rahet fateh that should be the true focus here. Its the power of that voice thats moving and I can see how it can bring tear to someone like deepika. I think the emotional make up of indians and pakistanis are the same and a strong art form whether its music, painting, literature, ghazal or quwwali or bhakti song can really melt our souls. Why are our nations split like this I fail to understand. A curse.

To all of you who feel that her crying was real..... it may have been a publicity stunt for her upcoming release for which she attended that episode! After all she IS an actress. But none the less... Rahat is a true gem, he did put a lot of feelings in that song, could make anyone fall in love or give teary eyes to.

No one is comparable to the Amazing RAHAT FATEH ALI....... I hope he will be as good in quwalli one day like he is in Play back singing rite now.....although he is best man alive if you wanna listen quewali , but THe Nusrat FAteh ali is the best of the best.

Movie was nice, Situation of the song in the movie is just perfect, Singer in this stage i.e. Mr. Rahat is a great man, meaning of the song touches the heart, Ms. Deepika's presence in this stage during this song was just incredible and her tears are just worth watching.
