@anewamericanclassic I had a chance to talk to him about music gear and recording once... He knows SO much about recording and arranging songs, as well as how to get the best sounds out of your gear... He's really a smart, smart guy. It's really amazing. Death Cab wouldn't be the same without him.

The drumming in this song is ridiculously fun. One of the best songs, but especially amazing live... Taking into consideration the rigged drums along with the ambient guitar feedback and delay, combining together with the vocals and lyrics... all building up to 'I've always fallen fast, too much trust in the promising that no ones ever been here, so you can quell those wet fears.." a great 'rock' part, but beautiful phrasing and lyrics as well. Just a great song all around.
