This is so fucking beautiful. I usually hate Mecha animes, but I have high respects for Aquarion. It is simply the best Mecha anime ever. Some Mecha anime like Accel World, Code Geass, Tengan Toppa Gurren Lagaan (I still find it's logic blasphemous), Neon Genesis, Gundam, etc. are decent, but pale to comparison to Aquarion.

Once Sirius returns, the new sword attack usable by Apollo will help you mow down Shadow Angel bosses.

In the same game, there is a character I don't like in his show, but I had to keep using him anyway, since he has very good stats and a fast mecha.

They, like many other mecha characters from other series, do improve, due to extra support/interactions from characters outside their show, and more humorous as well.

But, for sure, you will curse Sirius the moment he defects, as you have to stick with the Apollo-Pierre-Silvia or Apollo-Jun-Tsugumi combinations, both does not have many powerful attacks as the Apollo-Sirius-Silvia combo.

The Fire Fist is useful, but not as destructive.

However, in Super Robot Wars Z, you will miss those two when they are not available, cuz they make the best combo with Apollo, and has the most powerful moves.
