Haha, I'm seeing a few of my driving stomping grounds whenever I go out there to LA. I'm from the midwest (Chicago), and whenever I travel out to LA, I don't travel like many tourists do (to shuttle to stay in hotels and not see much of anything). I have driven on the 405 (which is a TERROR!), the 10 (Santa Monica Freeway), the Hollywood Freeway (101), & the Pacific Coast Hwy. One thing I noticed that is different there from here is the carpool lane (we don't have that here).

Nice video. The closest major HWY, in m opinion, HWY ten, was the closest to where my wife had resided from 87 to 2004. So it sure does bring back memories.
