plutonwolf ~ my apology to cobwebhead applies too also ;-} i'm not sure of the point of your post, maybe other than to clear your chest, but i have the same concerns as you, for the most part. the difference between man and God is that there is a point when man is not, then is. i believe that takes place at the very moment of the sperm settlin' into the environment of the egg. pow!!! conception!!! and life is never expendable, by human standards. our shortcoming is that we lack the mind of God
cobwebhead ~ forgive my tardiness re: responding to your thoughtful response to my post. phweeew, that was a mouthful of apology. anyway,,, thank you for you kind remarks,,, i think, my friend, that innocents are gonna' die always because in this world we are engaged in a spiritual war. one has to account for the force of evil to understand, in my opinion, the true nature of human warfare. for Christians, are weapons are the Word of God (see 2nd Cor. 10:3-6 and Eph. 6:10-18).
p.2 (correction for above: it should read "our weapons," not "are weapons")
i don't know that Jesus would vote for anyone, but i do believe He would stand on the steps of the capital and introduce any person to the real Truth, His very Self, through individual and group discourse. He would reveal the foolishness and fallacy of man-centered philosophy and problem-solving, and reveal His Self as the Righteous Answer. but though one return from the dead, the spiritually dead will still not believe
JOHN MCCAIN IS A TOTAL IDIOT !!!!!!! He cannot read, talk and certainly will not be able to lead this country!!! He needs to go back home, one of them anyway... GO OBAMA!!!!!
The rescue bill that John McCain "suspended his campaign" to support and worked to get passed, failed to pass because Republican's voted against it. They added a pile of pork, McCain worked hard to get it passed and it passed. McCain then criticized Obama for "phoning it in"
Then McCain called the bill destructive to the economy, corrupt, a bad deal and an example of everything that is wrong with Washington. I think he even called on Bush to Veto the bill.
