This insane old hag needs to retire. She's obviously had a stroke or some other mental incapacitation at some point in her life which has caused her to have that glassy-eyed, blank stare while speaking her extreme views. And, that annoying, hag-like laugh sounds like an old Chrysler engine trying to turn over in the dead of winter.

If the unemployed use the money for the same thing they would have when they worked nothing is boosted. But if they can now afford things they couldn't before, hell yeah it boosts the economy. At least untill the interest due on the money borrowed to pay benefits.

If I were Obama I would stick Pelosi in a tool shed with a phony set, a fake camera, a fake microphone and a bunch of paid actors to ask her questions and clap at things she says, just to keep her happy.

This is just another shining example of the fact that politicians do not understand the FACT that the government produces NOTHING. When an employer pays an employee, they do so because the employee has PRODUCED something through their work effort. Forcefully taking money from the producers & giving it to non-producers (unemployed) to spend does NOTHING to "grow" the economy. Only increasing production stimulates the economy. Pelosi is clueless to that simple fact of reality.
