This is part 2 of my sharpening tools/kits to show you a few different ways to sharpen your knives..I go over a few different tools to show how they work, but I do not show in detail what to do...this is a general description of what the tools or kits are like...enjoy!

  • cutlerylover, i have a very old small swiss army knife and i've tried many different kinds of shapeners but i cant really seem to get the edge very sharp, please help

  • @wormer104 This system could work with any straight blade, regardless of length. The only thing most sharpening systems can't handle is serrations. With this particular system you could pretty much sharpen a little multi-tool blade, a sword, and anything in between. Again, assuming it's not serrated.

  • Can this be used for any realisticly-sized knife? Like a Ka-Bar or similar?

  • @mikethenascarfan sharpen at 20 degrees on both side of the knife, it works great on my Kabar usmc fighting knife.

  • hi cutlery lover, long time follower here (not sure why i didnt subcribe earlier though), I recently purchased a ka-bar and it says the edge andle in 20 degrees- does this mean i have a 40 degree blade or should i use a 10 degree sharpener for each side of the blade? if so what would you recoomend

  • @pipesterNCH To clean, scrub stones with a plastic scouring pad and powered abrasive cleaner, let air-dry.
