    I'm using no external resistance so the kness past the toes poses no injury threat ;)

    If I was using weight then I would go with the that rule (knees don't go past toes)

    There are many sports where the knees have to go past the toes in certain positions like combative sports so it makes sense to train these movements ;)

  • aren't you supposed to keep your weight to your heels and not to bend your knees pass your toes?
