@1049berkeley Drill was a problem there to, not so much the execution, but the writing, which I think was limited by the idea of the show. the effect was moving from the bottom left to the top right of the field: hence the beginning and the end in the tunnels. This made them write drill in small sets so you could see the motion-you wouldn't see it in large sets. This made them seem smaller and less visually impressive than other corps, not to mention that that writing also shrinks sound.
@DCIPhan11 Great horns, their drum line was tops- saved them from a lower placing. Their problem was the drill--while their musical general effect is always tremendous, the visual was just not there in '09. Now, in '10, I have no doubt they were better than the Cadets on finals nite. I thought they brought an enormous amount of emotion to the field that nite. Musically speaking, they were my favorite (but generally they are anyway).
