Weekend with Carmichael

My brother's 9-month old German Shepherd puppy, Carmichael, spent the weekend getting to know Levi, my 10-year old Dalmatian and Kirby, my 5-year old Miniature Pinscher. They were surprisingly good together although there were also times when one of the three just wanted to be left alone (and made that fact known).

Your 10 yr. old Dalmatian looks great. Wonder what feed you give him and if you include Beef in his diet?

Thank you! I've always had Levi on better quality dog food and I keep the protein level as low as possible to help with urate crystals. For the past few years, he's had a cup of Innova Senior dry mixed with a tablespoon or two of yogurt in the morning and another cup mixed with Merrick canned food at night. His favorite treats are Milk Bones (large).

Thank you so much for your response to my enquiry. We live in Sri Lanka where the variety of Pet food/kibble is limited. our Dals are given Eukanuba, apart from other foods like rice boiled with Chicken & vegetables and also bread , milk and table scraps.
