I don't care what anyone says, I've had the PC version maxed out on a 6600gt when it first came out and playing it on xbox today I'm still dumbfounded how they managed to even make this version play so well on the Xbox's specs. Consider the odds, they still did it, it still holds the overall theme and feeling while retaining the graphical foundations the PC had. How did they do it on that xbox spec? How!?

the xbox version is other then the pc one but the pc one much harder but cool

@ghostehh wrong so wrong. they had to cut out alot of shit from the pc version to put it in the xbox so everything cool in the pc isnt all there xbox is just a shorter version

try running doom 3 on a pentium 3 733 with a geforce 3 card in low-res and you'll see it won't look half bad if you connect it to a classic (crt) tv. the only thing you really need more on the pc is the ram because 64 megs of ram like xbox had just won't be enough for the pc version (you need atleast 256 megs or so). and this may also explain why the xbox version levels are smaller (like I said, only 64 megs of total ram on the xbox).

xbox was just about strong enough for doom 3. the ps2 coudn't run it (atleast not that it wouldn't look crap) and the gamecube was a bit too weak too, despite being capable of pixel shading.

Probably on a "real" xbox, couse there's not many emulators for xbox games.

the xbox version have some diference about the maps, the maps are more shorts than the pc version.

the fact is that taking the flashlight out in a dark room is a bad idea.. becuz there are always monsters there and they will get you when you have the flashlight..
