@shadowbunni624 HaHaHa! I agree. A bad neighbor is one thing, but a bad elderly neighbor is something else. Problem is they think they deserve respect, and do not have to give any in return, just because they are old. I have a couple next to me who are originally from a former communist country, and they are just devoid of any sense of civility, community responsibility, respect, decency, cleanliness, propriety. It is hard to no where bad personality ends and senility begins.

our neighbor bleeps from h*ll are in their 80's. We've been having to deal with their harrassment & Vandalism for over 16 yrs. OLD PEOPLE ARE AWFUL NEIGHBORS!!!

If it's a shared fence you have no right to attach anything to it. These senior citizens are just standing up for themselves. Then again, they could be assholes, I don't know.

Is it their railings? If it was theirs, then they did nothing wrong. If this is a condo or duplex or similar type house and the railings are just a divider then they had no right or reason to worry about the straps and they're being assholes. As for the free standing trellis, for fucks sake, do something else with it and ensure that it's secure and not a hazard for your child. The trellis looks secure to me and if it isn't then you should reevaluate having it if you're worried about it.

@hotdog2020 Let me tell you about MY crazy neighbor. He likes to park his truck in my driveway while I'm at work. They have 5 cars at their house. So they use my driveway as an extra parking space. This pisses me off so bad, I can't sleep at night. I need to build a security gate over my driveway. The ones with barb wires and spikes on top of the fence.
