VCU Public Health

The mission of the Department of Public Health Management and Policy is to: (1) conduct innovative, rigorous research in health policy and health services; (2) apply knowledge to reduce the burden of illness and improve efficiency in health care delivery for individuals and communities locally, nationally, and internationally; and (3) develop diverse leaders for professional and research careers through a masters and doctoral program.

Virginia Commonwealth University and NBC-12 teamed up to create the series called "It's VCU" to showcase this urban university, located in the heart of Richmond.
