That was very well said, and yes I think that YouTube is so amazing for that, because I think, "Wow, people in OTHER COUNTRIES are buying DPC's album" that's insane, and that would never of happened if it wasn't for YouTube and awesome people getting together to do awesome things. Keep doing what you're doing mixtapers.
Great words, Bill! It reminds me so much of what Glen Gould said 25 years ago. You know he was a greatly talented pianist, and left the public scene totally behind to play only for Columbia Records. He called what the people in the audience had a "Gladiator Spirit" that wanted him to fail, wanted him to fall so they could publically humiliate him in the newspapers.
You're very talented, Bill. I am sorry U have tasted bitterness in any area of your life.
For some reason, I feel like doctornoise probably answers the door with a microphone/mic stand in hand, just like in this video. Or perhaps, he just carries those things around everywhere he goes, so if you met him in public, and struck up a conversation, it'd look just like this video. And that's pretty cool.
Also, I did the band thing for 15 years. And, yeah. It mostly sucks.
I AGREE YOUTUBE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"So, Mr. Robinson, you seem to have a bad fracture in your shin bone. I'm afraid you won't be rock climbing for a few months."
"Well is there any way to speed up the recovery?"
"Well. there is one way."
"I'll do anything, Doctor."
"I'll bring in Dr. Noise, and we'll see what he can do."
"Dr. Noise?"
*Enter Dr. Noise*
"BLAAAAAAARGH!!"
"Thankyou Doctor! It seems your unceasing screaming has shocked my fibula back into place! Unfortunately you hvae now shattered my ear drums."
