but you don't really care for lab rats do ya?
we used a stereotax and found
where substantia nigra is around
the poor rat now was singing hallelujah

and so now lower the cannula down
close to the bregma that you found
injecting 6-OHDA 'member do ya?
this drug it damaged DA cells
transported by reuptake and nails
these cells to cause a lesion hallelujah

but wait there were some different drugs
that acted like OHDA plugs
that kept nor, epi cells safe in the nigra
for this we put some DMI
allowing time to pass on by
it caused specific lesions hallelujah

and now we damaged some brain cells
that parkinson's destroys as well
an animal model important to ya
by killing these DA cells in rats
we study how our body combats
nigrostriatal path damage hallelujah

we really shouldn't have that much fun in neurolab, but if you want a fresh way to learn about an animal model for parkinson's, this is the way to go.
